1947年12月24日 北海道旭川市生まれ。
早稲田大学第一文学部心理学科卒業後、ビクター音楽産業入社。
「画の出るレコード」VHDのオリジナルコンテンツ開発を担当。
映画でもテレビでもない、新しい動画の可能性を求めて、ミュージックビデオ、ドキュメンタリー、ハウツー、環境ビデオなど、発売作品の企画制作に携わる。
1982年、動画職人を志し独立。ビデオステーション・グロウ（現GROW）を設立。
新天地を求めテレビ番組に挑戦、「世界を動かす100人」をはじめインタビュー ドキュメンタリー番組を制作する。
1984年、マスメディアの世界を離れ、オーダーメイドで動画コンテンツを制作するマルチメディア動画工房を目指す。
以後、医療、建築、アート、教育などの専門領域でクライアントの動画発信を継続的にサポートするかたわら、オリジナルコンテンツの開発に取り組む。
2021年、動画WEBサイト、NATURE JAPANを公開。 40年来のライフワーク「心の旅に出るための自然動画集」と「愚老庵ノート」の配信を開始する。

Born December 24, 1947 in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, Japan.
After graduating from Waseda University, Department of Psychology, Faculty of Letters I, he joined Victor Music Industry.
In charge of developing original content for VHD, the "picture-emitting record.
In search of new possibilities for moving images that are neither film nor television, he was involved in the planning and production of music videos, documentaries, how-to and environmental videos, and other released works.
In 1982, he decided to become an independent video craftsman. Established Video Station Grow (now GROW).
Seeking a new field, he tried his hand at television programming, producing "100 People Who Move the World" and other interview documentary programs.
In 1984, he left the world of mass media to become a multimedia video studio that produces custom-made video content.
Since then, he has continuously supported clients' video transmission in specialized fields such as medicine, architecture, art, and education, while developing original content.
In 2021, he launched NATURE JAPAN, a video website. He will begin distributing his life's work of 40 years, "A collection of nature videos to take you on a journey of the mind" and "Guroan Note".
